Social Processes Lab

The Social Processes Lab studies how individuals are impacted by social interactions, particularly within close relationships. Current studies include: research on the ways in which partner interactions impact alcohol use and attempts to quit smoking; research on the influence of close relationship partners on goal attainment; research on close relationship partners’ cognition and memory systems; and other related inquiries into social dynamics.
