The digital humanities is an interdisciplinary area of inquiry that operates at the intersection of traditional humanities scholarship and computing technologies. The digital humanities encompasses, but is not limited to:

• the use of computing technology to pursue traditional humanities questions
• the use of humanist methodologies to examine digital objects and technologies
• the creation of new digital tools and methods for pursuing humanities research and inquiry
• the creation of new digital forms for the dissemination of such research
