with community service opportunities. Her areas of interest include community gardens,
stress/anxiety management, spiritual health, education as a form of empowerment, and
individuals’ overall adjustment to college and adult life.
Lauren was raised in Abilene, TX, but came to Houston in 2019 for her undergraduate

trying new recipes, and sewing, and she wants to learn how to cross-stitch.
