2024 “Sino-US Symposium on Chinese Literature and Art Critical Discourse in the New Century, and Forum on Essentials of Chinese Literature and Art Criticism” is a half day symposium sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and University of Houston. Eminent scholars from both the United States and China are expected to discuss the features and trends of Chinese literary and artistic critical discourse. Speakers of this forum include Professor Karen Thornber from Harvard University, Professor Haun Saussy from University of Chicago, Professor Janell Watson from Virginia Tech, Professor Yuechun Xu from CFLAC, Professor Peng Feng from Peking University, Professor Jianping Gao from Shenzhen University, Professor Qingmin Zhang from Henan University.
