Another Community Emergency Response Team class at the University of Houston has graduated.
The final drill for the CERT class took place April 29 and involved a mock scenario involving a tornado striking campus. The eight-week class included students, faculty and staff from all areas of campus.
CERT is a training program that prepares participants to help themselves, their family, and their neighbors in the event of a disaster.
