UH Bookstore Hosting its First-Ever Roadshow

UH Bookstore Roadshow Barnes Noble

Eager to spread awareness about the general services, products and operations of the official UH Bookstore, Barnes & Noble at UH - in collaboration with Auxiliary Services and members of the Bookstore Advisory Committee - will be hosting the campus's first-ever Bookstore Roadshow.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, near the circle drive entrance of the Student Center South.

Representatives from the Bookstore Advisory Committee, as well as members of the bookstore staff, will be on hand to answer questions about everything from inventory options to how customers can price match their textbook purchases with competitors like Amazon and Textbook Brokers.

Other hot topics the team plans to cover include:

  • Textbook loans
  • Textbook scholarships
  • Weekend hours
  • Book adoptions

Free cupcakes and lemonade samples will be available to faculty, staff and students during the event, and attendees will have a chance to indicate other items and areas of interest they would like to learn more about in the future.

There will also be an opportunity for individuals to enter to win a $400 bookstore gift card.

"I'm excited about the upcoming roadshow, as we've never hosted an event like this before," said General Manager Felix Robinson. "I look forward to interacting with the campus community and gathering good feedback to guide our future operations."
