Workplace Training Focus of UH Continuing Education Program
To train the trainers, the University of Houston will host of a series of workshops presented by its Human Development & Consumer Sciences department (HDCS).
HDCS’ Trainer Certificate Program will be conducted by award-winning training professionals and UH faculty. The program is split into four workshop modules that will be conducted from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at UH’s Isabel C. Cameron Building. Dates and module topics are as follows:
- Feb. 15 and 22: Foundations of Workplace Learning
- March 7 and 14: Designing & Developing Effective Training
- March 28 and April 4: Delivering a Positive Learning Experience
- April 18 and 25: Evaluating Training
For every module completed, students will receive 1.2 continuing education units that can be applied to a master of science in Human Resources Development, should participants decide to enroll in UH’s program.
