UH Student Financial Services is asking all students to login to Higher One by December 1, 2009, and make a “Green” refund choice of either ACH (funds electronically transferred to bank account of student’s choice) or direct deposit into a Higher One Account. Students must have an “activated” Higher One Refund Card to select their refund preference.
For more information on the student refund process, please visit the Student Financials Refunds webpage.

When registering for classes through myUH, students will now have a way to estimate their textbook expenses, reduce time spent in line, increase their chances of getting used books, and place their textbook orders online via the UH Bookstore website from the myUH (PeopleSoft) registration page.
After selecting courses, the “My Class Schedule” page will offer students the option of visiting the UH Bookstore website by clicking on the “Your Campus Textbook” button at the bottom of the page. Students will be directed to the UH Bookstore website where the required textbooks for the courses will automatically populate. Students will be able to view textbook information including ISBN and retail pricing.
To purchase books using this service, students will need to create an account. Students will have the choice of having books shipped to their home or packaged for pickup at the UH Bookstore. Book orders will be ready for shipping or pick-up approximately two weeks before classes begin. There is no charge for using this service, but delivery fees apply if students choose to have their books delivered to a location other than the bookstore.
All processed textbook transactions will be handled by the UH Bookstore. Students who drop a class after ordering books should contact the UH Bookstore to correct the order, or request a refund for the book no longer needed.
Note: The use of this textbook service is not mandatory, but it offers the convenience of purchasing books without having to visit the bookstore.
For more information about using this service, contact the UH Bookstore during regular business hours at 713-748-0923, or via email at bkshouston@bncollege.com.
