New Classes for YOU
The Department of Campus Recreation understands thatto live a healthy lifestyle is important, and we also know that you could use some help reaching your goals, so our Aquatics and Fitness programs have created three new classes for the Fall semester.
Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga
The first is Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga, which meets on
Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 7:15pm and 7:15pm - 8:15pm and on Sundays from 12:30pm - 1:15pm and 1:15pm - 2:00pm. This class will engage your core as you stabilize yourself and master poses on a standup paddleboard in the deep end of the pool. This is not your typical yoga session!
The second new course is Hydrobics, which is a lose the impact of you workout, not the intensity . This shallow water classes will challenge your cardiovascular fitness and develop total-body strength and coordination. Swimming ability is not required. Class meets on Wednesdays from 12:15pm-1:00pm.
Finally, we introduce Aqua Zumba, which takes an already rockin’ and calorie-burning activity and makes it even more fun while in the water. Classes begin on Monday, August 25th
