CSATS - Computer Security Awareness Training for Students

CSATS, which was designed with the help of students, uses games and videos to teach UH students how to protect their computers, personal information, and UH computers from hackers, phishers, spammers, and other miscreants. Through CSATS, students learn about their shared responsibilities to create a safe campus computing environment.

CSATS is an educational, engaging and fun e-book filled with helpful security information about email, passwords, copyright, P2P file-sharing, identity theft, social networking, protecting computers, laptops and mobile devices and much more.

After completing CSATS, students will be able to:

  • Identify computer security risks
  • Take appropriate actions to reduce those risks
  • Understand basic computer security practices
  • Take the appropriate actions to secure their computers
