Marie-Céline Johnson is a French native who was born and raised in France. She holds a French Masters in Contemporary American Culture from la Sorbonne Nouvelle (the University of Paris III). In the United States, she received a Masters of Science in Adult and Technical Education.

Teaching

Mrs. Johnson has experience teaching French to students of all ages (K-12, university students, and adults in continuing education).

At the University of Houston, Mrs. Johnson teaches elementary French I and II and Intermediate French I and II. She enjoys bringing multimedia into her classes to engage students. She also taught French at Marshall university, at the University of Southern Maine, and at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.

Prior to teaching, Mrs. Johnson was a freelance French translator and editor in the manufacturing industry.
