CTAP on Fox 26 Houston News

The University of Houston was featured on FOX 26 Houston on April 1st, showcasing its esteemed CTAP Program. This program has received recognition for its inventive method of providing equal access to required course materials for the entire undergraduate student body. By combining technological advancements with student support, the CTAP program saves students money and supports student success. Watch video.

DaNesha Allen has Earned The CASP Certification

NACAS, the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education, is pleased to announce that DaNesha Allen, Director of Food Service at University of Houston-Central, has earned the CASP designation.

Chef Chad McDonald Earned a Gold Medal

Congratulations are in order for Senior Executive Chef Chad McDonald for his impressive win at the NACUFS Culinary Challenge in March 2024. Chef McDonald earned the gold medal and claimed the first-place position overall at the Southern NACUFS conference with his exceptional dish, Fruit de Mer. As the champion of the Southern Conference, Chef McDonald will have the honor of displaying his culinary talents on an upcoming national platform in front of a live audience. This achievement is truly commendable.

Coke Ambassadors

UH Auxiliary Services proudly acknowledges Nana Wordie, a Coca-Cola Ambassador to the UH community, for her outstanding contributions. The Outstanding Ambassador Awards honor exceptional performance by Coca-Cola Campus Ambassadors nationwide. In March 2024, Nana was distinguished from a cohort of over 100 college students as the esteemed Heart of the Ambassador Award recipient. This accolade recognizes her as a true exemplar of the values associated with representing The Coca-Cola Company.
