Books: I have ordered The Norton Shakespeare edited by Stephen Greenblatt and I will from time to time refer to this edition; however, it is not essential that you own this text. No test materials will be taken from the introductory materials in the text. You may use any editions of the plays which are convenient except abridged editions used for special situations. You may even use on line editions of the plays if you so desire. The important point is THAT YOU READ THE PLAYS.
