I would like each of you to take a few minutes to respond to part I of the overall assessment of this course. For each question you will select a response from a set of possible responses. When you are finished, click on the Submit button and your responses will be e-mailed to me. Ready?
"Earth is a unique place, home to more than a million life forms, including ourselves. No other planet yet discovered has the same delicate balance of conditions necessary to sustain life. Geology is the science that studies Earth -- how it was born, how it evolved, how it works, and how we can help preserve it." [Press and Siever, Second Edition]
You should review this page at least once a week. Who knows.....there might be something "extra" posted.
Copies of the text portion of the slides are being placed on the Internet. At the beginning of each chapter you will have the opportunity to download a file containing this information. You may wish to print these out before class and use them as the framework for your notes. It will take a few days but I will try and get these posted shortly. I will have to make sure that this will work from the library but it should.
You can download a text document that should work with any word processor or you can download one that will work with Microsoft Word. The Word document will preserve the large and bold type whereas you would have to add that for the text document.
