GEOL 1330: PHYSICAL GEOLOGY

Dr. Peter Copeland

Grading Scale:

When computing your grade for the class I will take the best three of your first four tests and the final. In other words, I will drop your lowest grade of the first four tests. There will be no make-up exams. If you miss a test for any reason, you will receive a zero on that test and it will be the exam you drop. The first four tests will be worth 100 points each; the final will be worth 150 points. Therefore, with one of the first four dropped, there will 450 points possible for the semester.

This scale is based on the final number of points in the class. Remember that you get to drop your lowest score on the first four tests so if you don't like your score on the first test, just do better the second time and your first test is ignored.
