Andrea Szabo Associate Professor of Economics PhD in Economics, University
of Minnesota, 2010 Andrea Szabo specializes in industrial organization and
development economics. Her research examines how firms and consumers respond
to prices, regulation, information, and financial constraints, particularly
in developing countries. She has studied public utilities, manufacturing
firms, retail markets, banking, political competition, and environmental
conservation. Her work combines structural and reduced-form methods with
original data collection, including extensive field research, surveys, and
