TGJoin us for National Trends in Collegiate Mathematics Discussion

Presenter: Uri Treisman, Professor of Mathematics and of Public Affairs, Director of the Charles A. Dana Center, University of Texas at Austin

Join Uri Treisman for a discussion on evolving attitudes and ideas about undergraduate mathematics. Factors such as the changing needs of the sciences, new research on how students learn mathematics, and data on student success are driving many to rethink the structure and content of mathematics courses. Treisman will summarize and draw connections between a number of national efforts to address this issue.
