PHI BETA DELTA Scholarship

The University of Houston’s Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars offers scholarships in support of the academic study of UH students with international experience.  

Deadline: November 1 (Closed.  Currently not accepting applications).   

Amount: Up to four recipients will be selected. Each scholarship is $500. Priority will be given to UH Phi Beta Delta student members.

Enrollment: Recipients must be enrolled in Fall and Spring semester for the academic year.

Eligibility: Domestic and international students are eligible to apply. This scholarship does not qualify for an out-of-state tuition waiver. Applicants must demonstrate active involvement in international educational activities.  Undergraduate applicants and students in professional colleges (Law, Optometry and Pharmacy) must have and maintain at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA.  Graduate applicants must have and maintain at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA.  Scholarship recipients will be awarded membership in Phi Beta Delta, or will be awarded membership renewal if currently a member.

Support: The primary funding source for the Delta Iota Chapter is from private donations, generous benefactors, and the accrued interest from the chapter endowment fund. For more information about the endowment, and to make a contribution, visit the Endowment page
