TEAS Preparation

The Gessner College of Nursing requires all applicants to submit TEAS scores as part of their application.

We highly encourage applicants to take the time and study for the TEAS as we ONLY accept the FIRST TWO ATTEMPTS.

Applicants will submit the complete ATI TEAS Individual Performance Profile results, which look something like this.

After taking the TEAS you can locate your results by following these directions.

While the Gessner College of Nursing is not looking for a specific TEAS score, we highly encourage applicants to have a score of 80 or higher in each of the four content areas (Reading, Math, Science, and English Language Usage) to be considered competitive applicants. An applicant with a score of 80 or higher generally indicates a high level of overall academic preparedness necessary to support learning of health science-related content.

To better prepare for the TEAS, we encourage applicants to take mock exams, which can highlight areas needed for additional study.
