The university remains open - there are no class cancellations at this time.  Some local road conditions, on and off campus, are not conducive to safe travel at this time.  Your safety is our first concern - if you can not travel safely to campus, please contact your professor to discuss your personal situation. We recommend you do NOT travel at this time --road conditions are expected to improve this afternoon. 

The University of Houston Department of Public Safety will continue to monitor the weather and will post updates as needed at http://www.uh.edu/emergency.
