Kids Meals

Kids Meals delivers free and healthy meals to the homes of children who may not have access to affordable and nutritious food. Their mission is to end childhood hunger and their mission starts in the Greater Houston area. They have given more than 12.5 million free meals to food-insecure children so far! As volunteers, we will help with assembling the sandwiches and food, packing the bags, sorting donations, or doing other miscellaneous work like unloading a delivery or decorating bags.

Nora’s Home: Sunflower Sacks

Nora’s Home offers solid organ transplant patients and their families an affordable place to stay in the Texas Medical Center (TMC) where they can find support and share experiences with others, in the comfort of a home-like environment. Its guests often spend long days at the clinic and miss meals — Sunflower Sacks help provide an easy snack for guests to bring with them to long clinic visits and enjoy! Decorate some bags, fill them with snacks, and we’ll drop them off at the home. All supplies will be provided and volunteers can come any time on Tuesday, 03/05, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Impact (SC North)
