  • Is the clinic open to the community?

    Yes, anyone can be a patient at UH Health Family Care Center. You do not have to be a University of Houston student, faculty, or staff member to become a patient. We are accepting new patients and here to serve our community.

    Established patients may schedule via the patient portal.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    Yes. We accept most major plans including Medicare. Please view more of the coverage accepted on our Payment page.

  • What if I do not have health insurance?

    Everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable care.

    Discounts are offered through the Sliding Fee Discount Program and are based on family size and income.

  • Do you have doctors who speak Spanish and/or other languages?

    Yes. We have bilingual providers and offer free language assistance.

  • Can I schedule an appointment online?

  • Do you offer virtual visits?

    Yes, for established patients via patient portal.
  • Where are you located?

    UH Health Family Care Center is located on the main campus of the University of Houston.

  • What is the cost of parking?

    There is no charge for parking. Please bring your parking ticket with you for validation at the reception desk.
