Most undergraduate majors in organ performance pursue the following degree:
Bachelor of Music in Applied Music
Undergraduate organ students may also pursue the following degrees:
Bachelor of Music in Composition with applied lessons in organ
Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in Teacher Certification (organ concentration)
Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in Music Business with applied lessons in organ
Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in Religion with applied lessons in organ
Bachelor of Arts with applied lessons in organ. (Scholarship money from the Moores School of Music is not available for students pursuing the Bachelor of Arts degree.)
Most graduate students in organ performance pursue one of the following degrees:
Master of Music in Applied Music
Master of Music in Sacred Music - not currently accepting applications
Doctor of Musical Arts (keyboard)
Extremely gifted organists who have completed a Bachelor of Music may pursue the prestigious performer's certificate:
Certificate in Music Performance
Graduate students in Piano or Keyboard Collaborative Arts may register for applied lessons in organ upon approval from the director of the organ program.
