Homecoming 2023 

The University of Houston proudly presents Homecoming 2023! Homecoming is more than a football game - it is a week celebrating the University of Houston, uniting students and organizations, and showcasing Cougar Pride and Cougar Spirit during one of the oldest traditions on campus! For each day of Homecoming, there are different events for students, alumni, and the UH Community. Mark your calendars this year for Homecoming 2023, and celebrate Homecoming with us from November 6th - November 11th, 2023!

Graduate School Prep Week (9/25 - 9/29) 

Mark your calendars for Graduate School Prep Week hosted by University Career Services. Graduate School Prep Week is a transformative week-long event designed to empower students with the knowledge and resources they need to embark on their advanced educational journey.  Through a dynamic series of workshops, attendees will gain invaluable insights into the nuances of graduate school admissions, program selection, and career planning. Engaging with seasoned academics and industry experts, participants will explore topics ranging from crafting compelling personal statements to securing funding for their studies. This event serves as a comprehensive roadmap, equipping students with the tools and confidence necessary to pursue their academic aspirations with clarity and purpose. Join us for a week of inspiration, guidance, and networking, as we pave the way for the next generation of scholars and professionals.

Campus Rec Outdoor Leisure Pool is open!

Join us for our end-of-summer reopening pool party to celebrate Campus Recreation's Outdoor Leisure Pool! Bring your friends for an evening of swimming, splashing, food, music, and fun!

Pet Therapy

UH Wellness will host Pet Therapy which allows students to relieve stress and unwind with puppies and dogs!

StepUp! Bystander Intervention

UH Wellness is hosting StepUP! This is a bystander intervention program designed to educate students about how to be proactive in helping others.

100 Years of Stories Exhibit Launch

Don’t miss the “Agents of Change” exhibit opening in MD Anderson Library and the Houston History magazine launch on September 27th! Come hear about the people and organizations that have helped shape UH into a city-impacting powerhouse for nearly 100 years!

Mental Health First Aid

UH Wellness is hosting a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training which teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge. RSVP here to attend.

Diamond Emergency Fund

The Diamond Emergency Fund was created to provide funds for emergency financial needs to current full-time students: who are foster care impacted, wards of the state, unaccompanied (one or more parents are deceased). Diamond Emergency assistance is now open! Apply today here.
