THINGS TO KNOW

• The University of Houston is committed to hosting in-person commencement ceremonies, therefore we will continue to follow CDC guidelines.  Masks must be worn by everyone and assigned, socially-distanced seating in the venues will be observed.
• All graduates will have the opportunity to walk the stage, have their name called and their photo taken.
• To stay within safe venue capacities, graduates will be allowed up to four (4) guest tickets.  The ceremonies will be live streamed so those not able to attend can still share in the experience.  They will also be available after the scheduled time for future viewing.  More information on guest ticketing will be coming soon.

Each week, from now until commencement, we will send you these short memos to keep you informed.  We encourage you to also become familiar with the commencement website (www.uh.edu/commencement) as this will be where the most updated information can be found.
