Homecoming 2023 

Homecoming is more than a football game- it’s a week celebrating the University of Houston, uniting students and organizations, and showcasing Cougar Pride and Spirit during one of the oldest traditions on campus! For each day of Homecoming, there are different events for students, alumni, and the UH community. Coogs for Christ Monday Night Devotion

Join us each Monday night for food, friends, and fellowship in the Spirit. Food will be served starting at 6:15 on the second floor and will be followed by 7:00pm worship in the main chapel downstairs. All are welcome.

Halloween Library Scavenger Hunt

If you're looking for a spooky good time this Halloween, stop by the Architecture, Design, and Art Library this Tuesday for a fang-tastic time! Collect clues to complete a secret phrase and win some treats! So happy haunting and stop by…if you dare!

Free Wednesday Lunch 

The Free Wednesday Lunch program is not only a signature program at A.D. Bruce Religion Center, but it is also a vital campus program for our community. The Wednesday Lunch program creates an opportunity for our community to connect and engage with one another over a hot meal. Whether you identify as faith-following or non-religious observing, All are Welcome. Each Wednesday lunch is generously sponsored/provided by a UH Department, Campus Ministry, or local House of Worship. We welcome the UH community on each lunch date to gather in fellowship for the nourishment of the body, mind, and soul.

Rec Beats

Don't miss the Spikeball tournament on 11/1 at 6 pm! Register now on myrec.uh.edu. Introducing UH Rec's own dancing competition, Dancing with the Rec! Show off your moves and compete individually or with a group in front of a panel of judges 11/3 at 3 pm. Register through myrec.uh.edu. Coming soon to the Rec is the Red Zone, a functional fitness area with new equipment, new classes, and turf for all to enjoy. Click here for more information. 

Good Morning Mondays

Good Morning Mondays' focus is to help shine some light in order to help you start the week off right. What better way to start the week than with Coffee (or Tea) and Donuts. Come over to the A.D. Bruce Religion Center for a quick hot beverage and a sweet treat.

Health Equity: From Awareness to Action CHW and Advocacy Conference

The University of Houston Community Health Workers Initiative and the Parkinson’s Foundation have partnered for the "Health Equity: From Awareness to Action Conference". Join us in learning about Parkinson's disease, available resources, establishing discussion points for community education, and promoting health equity in Parkinson’s disease care.
