UH's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is vital for campus mental health, serving as one element in a comprehensive crisis response system. The UH Care Team is an integral part of this effort, working behind the scenes to provide multidisciplinary support, ensuring seamless connections to resources and offering crucial long-term case management for students facing mental health challenges.

International Education Week 2023: Connecting Cultures with Global Coogs

International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, serves as a beacon for promoting the invaluable merits of international education and cultural exchange at institutions of higher education across the nation. Throughout the week, students will have the chance to immerse themselves in a diverse range of weeklong international opportunities. From savoring global culinary delights at Moody Towers and Cougar Woods Dining Halls, featuring international cuisine from Asado and Mondo Subs, to connecting with the world through social media, the avenues for exploration are boundless.

Donuts with Dr. Dan 

Donuts with Dr. Dan is an informal session with Interim Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Daniel Maxwell, where students have the opportunity to discuss their college experience, comments, concerns, and more about the Division of Student Affairs and its 22 departments. Enjoy donuts and coffee while having an honest conversation about the University of Houston and the Division of Student Affairs. Campus Rec Red Zone Classes 

UH Campus Rec's Red Zone is now OPEN and available to use for all members! Check out our new space with six more squat racks, turf, and brand new equipment with cutting edge technology to guide you through your workouts. For a limited time only, come check out our specialty Red Zone classes for FREE! We have 30- or 45- minute classes and you can choose from Move It, Box Fit, and Turf Circuit. Unwind With Wellness: Massage Therapy 

Unwind with Wellness on Wednesdays are free events held every Wednesday during the fall and spring semester. These events provide students with unique relaxation experiences like physical wellness activities, do-it-yourself projects, massage therapy, and pet therapy.

Date: Wednesday, November 15th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., located in the Student Center South Legacy Lounge. Click here for more information.

Come get tested for sexually transmitted infections for free!

Lavender Graduation

A graduate celebration for LGBTQ+ graduating students and allies. We will have a ceremony and reception for friends & loved ones. Please register by clicking here by November 16th.
