Eddie Nuñez has been named Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics at UH. He joins the Cougars after successfully holding leadership positions at the University of New Mexico and LSU.

UH has been recognized by the FirstGen Forward Network; a study by the UH College of Optometry aims to delay vision loss; and UH sprinters Shaun Maswanganyi and Louie Hinchliffe earned silver and bronze at the Paris Olympics.

Hurricane Beryl’s effect is still felt by UH’s Cougar Cupboard; however, the campus pantry will soon resume normal operating hours and regular deliveries from the Houston Food Bank.
