Dear UH Community,

We will host three finalists for the position of Dean of the College of Education on our campus in the coming weeks. These candidates will meet with University of Houston stakeholders and participate in open forums with faculty, staff, students and alumni.

All open forums will be conducted in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion on the second floor of the M.D. Anderson Library. While in-person attendance is encouraged, these forums will also be livestreamed. Dates and times are as follows:

Wednesday, April 19 – 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Thursday, April 20 – 10:00  – 11:00 a.m.

Thursday, April 27 – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Details on each candidate will be made available soon.

I’d like to thank the search committee and its co-chairs Athena Jackson, Dean of UH Libraries and Elizabeth D. Rockwell Chair, and Milena Keller-Margulis, Associate Professor in the College of Education’s Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences Department, for their hard work in this process.

Additionally, I’d like to extend my gratitude to Parker Executive Search for supporting this very important search for our University.

Thank you for your participation in the upcoming forums!

Respectfully,

Diane Z. Chase
