Dear Faculty and Staff,

We are excited to announce the Symposium on Community Engagement and Experiential Learning, which will be on February 2, 2024 at the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion in the M.D. Anderson Library.

The call for proposals is now open. Proposals are due Friday, December 15. We invite UH faculty and staff to submit individual or group presentations about experiential learning, community engagement, or community-based research. Presentations including community partners are welcome.

Individual presentations are limited to 15 minutes and will be grouped into panels. Group presentations can either be panels or roundtable discussions. These will be allowed an hour and should include at least 15 minutes for questions.

This event is the second annual symposium co-sponsored by the Cougar Initiative to Engage and Honors in Co-Curricular Engagement.

Please fill out this short form to submit your proposal by December 15.
