Greetings UH Community, Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week is an annual observance designed to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions of graduate and professional students in academia and beyond. We aim to foster a sense of community, express gratitude for the vital role graduate and professional students play in research and education and raise awareness about the unique challenges they may face. Various universities and institutions organize events, workshops, and activities to honor these students and promote a supportive environment for their continued success. We will engage students with “Appreciation Stations” set up at 3 locations across campus. Grad and Professional students will receive snacks and UH swag. Please let your students know that we will be located: April 8 – 4pm-5pm – Butler Plaza Breezeway April 9 – 4pm-5pm – Farish Hall April 10 – 9am-11am – Health 2 Building We will also be spreading #GRADitude all around campus through various forms of digital media. To do so we need your contribution! On behalf of University Career Services, we invite all members of the UH Community to recognize a Graduate, Doctoral, or Professional student by sharing a #GRADitude. Simply complete this form to share a few personalized words of celebration, recognition, or encouragement. We will send them a virtual post card and share this highlight on our website and social media throughout the week. Please note, we will need you to upload a picture of the student.
