Gautam Goyal

Only a few years after immigrating with his family from India, Gautam Goyal took charge of his life through education by enrolling at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Now he has established the Gautam Goyal Family Scholarship Endowment in hopes of supporting young business leaders in Houston and beyond.

Hobby School of Public Affairs Receives Official Accreditation 
The Hobby School of Public Affairs joined an elite class of schools committed to worldwide public service education. The Master of Public Policy program has received the official approval for accreditation from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration through August 2029.

Reminder: ‘Evolve Houston’ Official Relaunch Event 
Thursday, Aug. 18
Attend the brand relaunch of Evolve Houston, founded by City of Houston, UH, CenterPoint Energy, NRG Energy and Shell. The group’s mission is to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through transportation electrification. City of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner will present information at this free event occurring from 8 to 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, third floor.
