Dear Faculty and Staff,

Today, we launched a redesigned homepage for the University website – www.uh.edu. With a fresh and modern aesthetic, the new homepage is designed to appeal to prospective students by placing our University’s pride points front and center, while helping our current audiences better navigate the site.

New Features
The new homepage features a video montage showcasing our vibrant campus community and provides quick and easy-to-access hyperlinks to register for campus visits, learn about various degree programs and, most significantly, the Apply for Admissions website.

Moreover, it displays our key accolades and accomplishments, including U.S. News & World Report and Princeton Review rankings, world-renown faculty, research excellence and UH’s accessible and affordable education. Plus, the site’s new mega menu, located at the top of the webpage, helps users easily navigate the website by prominently featuring key webpages under each core category. Please check out some of the most frequently used Faculty/Staff webpages under “Coogs” on the mega menu, plus the many other dynamic, key features on this redesigned homepage.

Tell Our Story
As we continue our march toward becoming a top 50 public university, this contemporary redesign helps to better tell our story of excellence to the tens of thousands of visitors it receives each month. It reflects our commitment to staying current with technological trends in the competitive landscape of higher education. As a UH community, I encourage you to visit our new homepage and share it with your network.

Help tell our story — let’s show the world who we are!

Go Coogs!

With warm regards,
