Bicycle Registration Bicycle registration is mandatory for all cyclists on campus. When registered, bicycles are more likely to be recovered and are returned if lost or abandoned. The process is quick and easy and can be completed as follows:
- Register your bicycle or scooter in your myParking account via AccessUH. This step will take less than 5 minutes to complete. Step-by-step instructions can be found here. You'll need to provide your bicycle's make, model, color, and serial number, as well as your contact information.
- Make sure to pick up your registration sticker at the Parking and Transportation Services customer service office in Suite 110 of the Elgin Street Garage. It is required that the sticker be placed on your bicycle. Instructions on where to put it can be found here.
Bikeep Stations Park your bicycle at any of the bike parking locations available throughout the campus. This includes Bikeep smart bike stations, which are free parking stations that are monitored in real-time and provide assurance that your bike is protected around the clock. Bikeep is conveniently located near Butler Plaza and University Lofts. A separate bike lock is not required to use Bikeep stations.
Your active participation helps us maintain a secure and vibrant campus environment. Thank you for your cooperation. Let's work together to make our campus a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. Ride on! Additional information, rules and safety regulations can be found here. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to parking@uh.edu.
