Dear UH Community, This fall protect yourself and others from the flu and COVID-19 by getting vaccinated during one of several clinics to be held on campus for students, faculty, and staff. Coordinated by the Student Health Center and HR’s POWER UP Employee Wellness program, fall vaccination clinics will be conducted by H-E-B pharmacists on different days and locations throughout the campus from Sept. 16 - Sept. 30. Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (plus RSV/shingles/pneumoniafor those who are eligible per CDC guidelines) will be offered at little to no cost for students with the UH student health insurance plan (SHIP) and for employees with BCBSTX HealthSelect and Consumer Directed HealthSelect insurance plans. Others should check with their insurance companies to see if these vaccinations are 100% covered at H-E-B. For those without insurance, out-of-pocket payment for the flu shot will be $30 for students and $39 for faculty/staff. Payment via Zelle, Venmo, check or exact cash will be accepted.
