The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) at the University of Houston (Main Campus) supports institution wide continuous improvement efforts through ongoing, systematic, and integrated assessment processes that leads to data-driven decision making throughout the campus.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness leads the compliance efforts to ensure institutional alignment with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) standards. The primary focus is to ensure University of Houston students have a high-quality, meaningful, and equitable learning experience.
