Strut Your Stuff

Cheer on your favorite Spirit Cup Teams as they strut their stuff! Teams will give it their all as they present their skits based on this year’s theme: Dream Big, Win Big! Which group will master song, dance, and comedy to be declared this year’s winner? Come and find out!

Bed Races

TDECU Stadium, Gate 2

Join the Homecoming Board and the Spirit Cup Teams as they race to the finish! One of Homecoming’s favorite traditions, Bed Races is an event like no other! Teams decorate a bed and race down the straightaway for the fastest time. With free food trucks, giveaways, and plenty of activities, this event will be a great time for everyone, all the way to the checkered finish!

Canstruction

Check out Spirit Cup Teams' design and construction skills as they use donated cans to build some of your favorite UH buildings and structures. Come pick up some free food and giveaways and vote for your favorite! In collaboration with Metropolitan Volunteer Program, all cans collected will be donated locally to Mana House Third Ward Food Bank.

Join the Homecoming Board and Metropolitan Volunteer Program as we work to Rock the Campus by beautifying a portion of the campus we call home. Each year, Spirit Cup Teams come to participate in this on campus service event. Join us as we work to make UH a better place.

 

Cougar Quest

Looking for some Homecoming adventure? Look no further than Cougar Quest! Homecoming will be bringing the amusement park to you with lot of fun inflatables, laser tag, mini golf, mechanical bulls and more! Hang out, grab some free food, and have a blast as we get ready to cheer on the Cougars as they take on the Cincinnati Bearcats! Be sure to pick up your special edition, stadium ready clear Homecoming fanny pack to take to the game!

Get ready for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie and spirited events for Homecoming! Don’t miss out on this action-packed day! Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or a more casual fan Homecoming is a great time to hang out with your fellow Cougars!

Gameday details and timeline:

• 12:30 P.M. UH vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi Men’s Basketball Game in the Fertitta Center
• 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. Cougar Alley is open featuring a huge LED TV Screen and places to hang out with your friends!!
• 3:45 P.M. – Cougar Walk
• 6:00 P.M. – UH vs. Cincinnati Football Game featuring the Homecoming Court presentation at halftime!
