Facilities/Construction Management is happy to bring aboard a new Assistant Director of Customer Service. Gregory Besozzi started his new role in January of 2021.
Gregg will be elevating customer service across campus and overseeing the Building Coordinator Program, the FIXIT Customer Service Center, Key Access Control, and Outage Coordination, within the Facilities Business Operation and Compliance unit reporting directly to Executive Director Magda Alanis.
Prior to joining the University of Houston, Gregg spent the past 3 years in higher education as a facilities manager overseeing the corrective, preventive, and deferred maintenance program for the campus. He managed the operational budget and personnel allocation for the maintenance and construction services group. He oversaw and routinely reviewed data-driven KPIs and OKRs to measure performance and efficiency. Gregg brings over 15 years of leadership experience to F/CM, ranging from small teams in the austere environment of Iraq to large teams in the dynamic environment of deep-water off-shore drilling and he is excited to finally become a Cougar.
F/CM is excited to fill this key position in order to tackle the challenges presented by unprecedented and challenging times in order to Build Futures and Maintain Excellence.
