The University of Houston recently hosted the "DSA Welcome Back Event" at the Student Center ballroom, marking the start of a new academic year with a vibrant celebration. This event provided a valuable opportunity for Vice President Dr. Paul Kittle to engage with staff from across the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead.

Dr. Kittle, who served as the event's host, welcomed the DSA staff and highlighted the exceptional contributions of our diverse departments. The event celebrated and showcased the impactful work being done across campus from the 2023-2024 school year and provided an opportunity to directly thank staff for their commitment to the Cougar Experience and student success.

Key moments of the event included time for the staff to reconnect and socialize along with enjoying a wonderful meal together. This time of fellowship emphasized the strong sense of community and collaboration within the division and our commitment to collaborations across the university.

The event lifted the achievements of the past year and underscored the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all. The gathering was a testament to the division’s dedication to student success and community engagement.
