CyberCare Symposium 2024

On behalf of the University Transportation Center, we are pleased to announce that the 2024 Symposium on CyberCare will be held from October 17th (Thursday) to October 19th (Saturday), 2024, at the Student Center South, University of Houston, TX. The theme of the symposium is “Safeguarding Transportation Cybersecurity in the Digital Age.” The main objective of the symposium is to provide a forum for professionals to discuss and address the pressing needs of cybersecurity, connected and automated vehicles (CAV), AI applications, Intelligent Transportation Systems, safety in transportation systems, resilient and robust transportation, next-gen transportation cybersecurity, and how digital and AI technologies are revolutionizing transportation. The symposium will also serve as a collaborative space to develop strategies for protecting data integrity, ensuring the robustness of AI systems in unpredictable conditions, and fostering sustainable innovation within the digital transportation framework.

Call for Presentations

We are now accepting abstracts for presentations at the symposium on Safeguarding Transportation Cybersecurity in the Digital Age-related topics with a focus on Threat Landscape Analysis, Vulnerability Assessments, Incident Response Plans. If you are interested in making a presentation at the annual symposium, please submit your one-page abstract via the link below.

Poster Session and Student Competition

This year's symposium also features a Poster Competition aimed at engaging students and young professionals in the field of CyberCare. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging experts to showcase their research and innovative solutions.

Eligibility and Guidelines for Poster Competition

Open to full-time students and young professionals. Participants may submit one abstract as the lead author. Posters must include the Symposium logo and may also feature your university's and funding agency's logos. Participants must present their work at the symposium, highlighting their original research and creative approach.

Student Awards and Recognition

Submissions from students will be evaluated based on their innovative approaches, technical depth, and alignment with our symposium theme. We will be presenting awards for outstanding contributions in transportation cybersecurity. Notably, we will offer a 'Best Poster Award' to the student who delivers the most compelling and impactful poster presentation. This symposium provides a platform for both seasoned professionals and upcoming talents to contribute to vital discussions on transportation cybersecurity. Join us in shaping the future of secure, intelligent transportation systems in the digital age.
