Welcome to the CYBER-CARE Competition 2024, where students and cybersecurity enthusiasts tackle real-world challenges in transportation security through collaboration, innovation, and hands-on experience.
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
- Open to all university students across the USA.
- Participants must have a valid university email.
- Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.
Team Size
- Register individually or in teams of up to 4 members.
- Each student can join only one team.
- Each team needs a faculty advisor.
Event Timeline
- Registration Opens: October 10, 2024
- Registration Closes: November 15, 2024
- Competition Start Date: November 15, 2024
- Competition End Date: November 30, 2024
Competition Scope
Participants will face a series of cybersecurity challenges, including:
- Password Cracking
- Traffic Management System Exploitation
- Vigenere Cipher Decryption
- SQL Injection Vulnerability Identification
- Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Attacks
- Vehicle Trajectory Anomaly Detection

Awards
We will be awarding the following prizes to the top teams based on their performance. In the event of a tie, the team that submits their answer first will be ranked higher.
