UHPD Trading Cards

*Due to the transition to online classes at UH, the trading card game has been moved to an online format. Please stay tuned to @StayCougarSafe on Twitter for more information and rules!*

Can You Collect Them All?

For over 50 years, the University of Houston Police Department has been keeping our community safe. But how well do you know the officers of UHPD? Now is your opportunity to get to know them better, and play a fun game. You can collect trading cards from our officers, learn more about them and win prizes. Each level you complete, the prizes get better. Get to the top, and you win wireless headphones. There are plenty of opportunities to meet the officers and get involved. Follow our twitter account on the left side of the page to stay up-to-date on our exciting events.

So get out there, meet the officers of UHPD and collect those cards! Also, dont forget to #meettheofficerUH at the bottom of the page.

General Rules:

  • To complete a level, you must collect the designated number of cards
  • You must complete the first level before claiming a prize from the second level and so on
    • Limit one prize per person per level
  • You can ask the officer for one of their cards when you see them, but you must NOT interfere with their official duties
  • Once you have the cards necessary to complete a level, bring them to the Auxiliary Services Office on the first floor of the University Lofts to claim your prize
  • Have fun and get to know the great professionals at UHPD

Level 1 - Security Officers

In Level 1, you need to secure six (6) different cards from our Security Officers. The game board below shows you all of the cards that are available. Once you have met six (6) different officers and collected their cards, bring them to the Auxiliary Services Office on the first floor of the University Lofts to claim your Stay Cougar S.A.F.E. reusable water bottle.

Level 2 - Police Officers

Once you have moved on to level 2, it gets even more fun. You need to collect five (5) different cards from the patrol officers of UHPD to beat this level. You can find these officers all over campus. Remember, do not interfere with any of their official duties in pursuit of the cards. Once you have your five (5) cards, bring them to the Auxiliary Services Office on the first floor of the University Lofts to claim your Stay Cougar S.A.F.E t-shirt.

Level 3 - Command Staff

Whew, now it gets a little more difficult. The Command Staff Officers are Captains and Lieutenants who oversee the officers on patrol. These officers have come up through the ranks and have had incredible careers in service to their communities. You may have to demonstrate some knowledge of safety and security here at UH, but it's nothing you can't learn from our Twitter account (@staycougarsafe). Collect four (4) different cards from this level and you're moving on. Bring those four (4) cards to the Auxiliary Services office on the first floor of the University Lofts and you claim your prize, which is a gift card to the UH Campus Store.

Level 4 - Chief Moore and Assistant Chief Johnson

You're on the last level, but this won't be easy. This isn't a card you can just pick up when you see Chief Moore and Assistant Chief Johnson out and about on campus. To get this card, you have to get involved. UHPD hosts many events throughout the semester and there is ample opportunity to help out and spread the word about safety on campus. Are you coming to safety events? Are you telling people about safety tips to spread awareness? Are you coming to town halls and Coffee with a Cop events to give helpful feedback? Chief Moore and Assistant Chief Johnson are watching. If you get these cards, you will win a pair of wireless headphones.

#MeettheofficerUH

Another fun way to win a prize during this program is to #meettheofficerUH. Come to any of our safety events and find an officer, get their card and take a picture in front of our Stay Cougar S.A.F.E. back drop. Post that picture to Twitter and tag @StayCougarSafe and @UofHpolice with the hashtag #meettheofficer and we will give you a special prize right there on the spot!
