Campus Lighting and Security Project

This project will enhance lighting and security components across campus to meet the University’s current design guidelines, including LED lighting conversion, improved lumens per square foot for safety, installation of additional cameras, emergency call boxes, and security signage. The entire lightning and security project is scheduled for completion at the end of spring 2026. Phase 1, which will be completed in Fall 2024,  is highlighted in the map below.

Phase I: Construction Completion – Summer 2024

This project phase involves installing underground conduits to house new electrical wiring and infrastructure.

Phase II: Design Completion – Fall 2024 Construction – Summer 2026

The Design Development phase analyzes the dark areas within the parking lot. In this phase, the designer determines the quantity and types of new lightning required for a uniform lighting output throughout the parking lots.
