David McNally
David McNally is the Cullen Distinguished Professor of History and Business at the University of Houston. The author of seven books and more than 60 scholarly articles and book chapters, Dr. McNally has received both the Paul Sweezy Award and the Deutscher Memorial Award in recognition of his scholarship. Dr. McNally teaches in the areas of global history, the political economy of race and capitalism, and Atlantic history. Professor McNally’s most recent book is “Blood and Money: War, Slavery, Finance, and Empire” (Haymarket Books, 2020). David McNally is also a longstanding member of Faculty for Palestine. In 2018 he addressed a session of the Middle East Studies Association on the issue of academic solidarity with Palestine.
