Child at school

  • As an open-enrollment public charter school, we enroll students based on available space. We typically hold informational meetings in February and March; all expected applicants should attend. We accept applications at any time and hold a lottery every April. Applicants are added to a wait-list if there are not enough spots available.
  • UPDATE: Due to the indefinite suspension of normal school activities and the stay at home order related to COVID-19, the UH Charter School has changed the process for the submission of lottery applications for the 2020-21 school year. Submit the 2020-21 application via email only to jlaguil4@central.uh.edu. Applications will be accepted through Friday, April 17, 2020. The lottery selection will take place on Monday, April 27, 2020.
