InspireSemi’s Thunderbird solution features a powerful “supercomputer cluster-on-a-chip” architecture with thousands of modern 64-bit CPU cores tightly integrated with high-speed memory and networking. Leveraging the open standard RISC-V CPU ISA, it offers access to a thriving ecosystem of software and development tools, simplifying software development and maintenance. With over 6,000 interconnected CPU cores per PCIe card, Thunderbird delivers energy-efficient performance for HPC, AI, graph analytics and other compute-intensive tasks.

About the Speakers

Alex Gray is the founder of InspireSemi and inventor of its processor architecture. He is a versatile technical leader skilled in electronic design and other engineering disciplines. He previously founded CryptoCore Intellectual Holdings LLC, the predecessor to InspireSemi, and Gray Global Enterprises LLC, a lab equipment supplier. He has over a decade of design engineering experience with companies including SunPower Corporation and SolarBridge Technologies. Alex earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at age 20. He holds nine patents.
