Rice University and UH HPE Data Science Institute Partner for Oil & Gas Conference

About the Event:

In partnership with Rice University, the UH community is invited to attend the 14th annual virtual Oil & Gas High Performance Computing Conference.

This conference is the premier meeting place for those in the energy industry to engage in conversations about challenges and opportunities in HPC, computational science and engineering, machine learning and data science. Attended by more than 500 leaders and experts from the energy industry, academia, national lab, and IT industry, this is a unique opportunity for key stakeholders to engage and network, helping to advance HPC in the energy industry.

The agenda for the conference includes invited keynote speakers, technical program, virtual networking reception, student posters and pre- and post-conference workshops.

Registration for the conference is free. Pre- and post-conference workshops (February 26 and March 12) are included in the conference registration.

Call for Participation:

• Students and post docs are encouraged to participate in the Poster Session on March 5 to present research that is relevant to the industry. The submission deadline is February 21, 2021.
