H-Town Underground: Tunnel Walking Tour

Houston is known as the Bayou City, but there is much more to experience in this diverse city. Join us as we explore the beauty of downtown Houston when we take a stroll down Walker Street. Starting at Discovery Green, we will make our way through the streets and down into Houston’s underground tunnel system. This tunnel system is a hidden gem of Houston and runs over 6 miles long, connecting 95 city blocks! These historic tunnels are filled with shops and walkways that provide a pedestrian-friendly way to navigate downtown. We will walk to our destination of Sam Houston Park to admire the charming park before making our way back to Discovery Green and then to UH.
