Hungry University of Houston students lined up to receive a plate of pancakes and turkey sausage during Finals Mania at the M.D. Anderson Library’s Rockwell Pavilion.
The two-hour event took place the night of May 5. The tradition happens twice a year at the end of the fall and spring semesters to give students a much-needed break from studying for final exams.
It kicked off with members of the UH marching band performing several songs from the second-floor balcony. After that, the serving began, with help from dozens of volunteers.
