Copy, Print and Delivery Services has been an integral part of the University of Houston's main campus since 1949. While the department's name and organization has changed through the years — and a fire led to a move to its present location, the CPD team is dedicated to meet the printing and mailing needs of the University's students and faculty/staff in a timely and efficient manner. It is the goal of CPD to provide its services in a cost-effective way, while maintaining the award-winning department's high standards of excellence. The print and postal center strives to make improvements and adapt to changing technologies, so it can meet the demands of new opportunities of service. It's located in the campus' General Services Building on Elgin Street in the Cullen North District.

In-Plant Awareness Month Showcases CPD Impact

Each February, In-Plant Awareness Month shines a spotlight on the critical role in-house printing and mailing operations play in supporting organizations nationwide. The University of Houston's Copy, Print and Delivery Services (CPD) exemplifies tgat impact through scale, technical precision, and a campuswide commitment to quality. Copy and Print Services Receives Administration and Finance Team Impact Award

Copy and Print Services received an A&F Team Impact Award for their efforts as part of the Directional Signage/Online Map Team that addressed a critical need ahead of Fall 2025 for clear and accessible wayfinding signage across the campus due to the ongoing construction projects. The team designed and implemented directional signage, hard copy maps for Cougar First Impressions, and updated the online UH Map, including digital pedestrian paths. The initiative supported the University's strategic goals and exemplified a commitment to division collaboration and community care.

Copy, Print and Delivery Services offers a variety of merchandise that can be University-branded and customized to meet your needs. Check out the various groups of products offered under apparel, bags, drinkware, fun and outdoors, office and awards, trade shows and events, and writing online. Once an item is chosen, users can click on it to open interactive features by clicking “View with Logo”. Shoppers can create a visual image of what their product could look like and add a background from files or generated from AI for presentations. The four-in-one retractable highlighter pen set (above) allows students and professionals easy access to color coding while on the move or organizing study notes or paperwork.
Amazon Locker – Creativity Opens On Campus
A new Amazon locker hub has been set up on campus. Amazon Locker – Creativity is conveniently located at the Student Center South, 4455 University Drive, outside of Chick-fil-A and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When placing an order, select the locker "Amazon Locker – Creativity" from the list during checkout and check the confirmation box to prevent delays.
CPD Open for Business, Tours

The University’s full-scale print shop and mail and delivery unit provide the benefit of being on campus. Competitive and/or reasonable prices are available on all print and copy jobs. For those interested in seeing the Copy, Print and Delivery Services team in action, tours — which can last up to an hour — are available by emailing printing@uh.edu.
